My build of a design by Robothut. It is a replica of the life-sized
robot built by the Westinghouse company in the 1930s, adapted to a small
walking toy. It walks by shuffling, moves its arms, spins gears in its
chest, and the eyes light up. The 1930s robot was originally gold, but I
used my regular silver rather than buy a dedicated roll of gold filament.
I used a 5mm super-bright yellow LED inside the head to light up the
eyes. There are multiple versions of the Robothut design, I used the
2-cell version with the CAD head.
