1. Preheat oven to 450°F/230°C.
  2. In a medium bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water
  3. Let stand until foamy, about 10 minutes (Only a few minutes if using instant yeast)
  4. Mix sauce ingredients in a saucepan and let simmer for about 30 minutes
  5. Mix flour, salt, and seasonings in a separate bowl
  6. Stir dry mix and olive oil into yeast mixture (let stand 5 minutes if not using instant yeast)
  7. Turn dough out on to a greased baking sheet (olive oil works well)
  8. Spread dough evenly to the edges
  9. Poke holes/dents into the dough with a fork or spiked roller
  10. Spread sauce on dough, then add cheese and toppings
  11. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes or until crust is golden brown
  12. Let cool for 5 minutes
