Taco Bake
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 2 envelopes of Taco Seasoning
- chopped onions and peppers
- 1 can diced tomatoes w/peppers
- 1 can of tomato sauce
- 1 can of kernel corn
- 2 c. grated cheese
- 2 c. of all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp. Baking Powder
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1 c. milk
- Brown about 2 pounds of ground beef
- Drain grease
- Aadd chopped onions and peppers once the meat is mostly cooked
- Stir in taco seasoning
- Add diced tomatos, tomato sauce, and drained corn
- Place that in your pan sprayed with cooking spray
- On top of that sprinkle about 2 cups of grated cheddar cheese
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Stir together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt
- Add the melted butter and milk
- Stir just until dry ingredients are moistened. If you mix biscuit
dough too much it will get tough
- drop spoonfuls of dough close together then use fingers to stretch
them together so the top of the casserole is mostly covered
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes or until the biscuit is
lightly browned
